Bruco Integrated Circuits is a fabless design center focussing on RF and Integrated Power mixed signal ICs. We provide design services and turn-key solutions from early system specification to qualified silicon. Our team of highly skilled people, consists of over 30 IC design engineers with bachelor, master and PhD degrees with various backgrounds.
Looking back at 25 years of ASIC design, Bruco designs have enabled our customers to change our world today. Our designs can be found in many products close to home like cars, personal entertainment, mobile phones, lighting and industry.
Bruco was started in 1988 on New Year's Day. Since then it has evolved from a small privately held automotive design house into today's innovative solutions provider for electronic product development.
In the year 2008, Dizain-Sync, an independent consultancy organisation in electronic design & development, focussing on PLM, EDA, Design and Training services, was brought into the company to increase the portfolio of services for our customers.
In 2009 it was decided to put our logistic activities around the delivery of ICs into a new sister company called Bruco Components.
Dieco Electronics B.V., was founded in 2009, with Bruco Components, Bruco Integrated Circuits and Dizain-Sync as daughter companies. Today, the companies together have a headcount of about 50 people, most are located in Borne and we have a RF test laboratory and office in Nijmegen at the Novio Tech Campus.
CEO a.i. Mr. Meino Toering
Meino Toering (1963) started the 1st of March 2017 at Bruco Integrated Circuits. He brings with him over 25 years of experience in various interim managing director positions. He is a generalist and experienced manager with solid background in industry practice. Meino holds a MSc degree in Business Management from the University Twente, the Netherlands.
Supervisory director Mr. Harry Diepenmaat
Harry Diepenmaat (1957) has been Managing Director of our company from 2001 until 2014. He was one of the driving forces in IC development and power management systems for Philips oscilloscopes and Fluke ScopeMeter products. Prior to being one of the seed investors in GreenPeak, he was co-founder and business angel for JIS Nederland. In 2006 he became member of the Board of Directors at GreenPeak. Harry is co-founder and Board member of the Business Cluster Semiconductors East Netherlands. Since May 2014 Harry has become Supervisory Director of Dieco Electronics.

Way of working
Thanks to our way of working, we can offer you full custom ASICs that are not as expensive as you might think, even for smaller quantities. Bruco covers all sorts of projects and we can provide a one-stop-shop solution. We have an excellent track record on turn-key projects from early specification until verification and industrialization, including project management. Locating the project team in one room ensures short and effective communication lines. When required our engineers can be part of your design team as well. Having multiple project teams close together also has its advantages: It is really easy to tap into knowledge of other designers working on completely different projects. Sometimes the best ideas are born just having a cup of coffee.

Not all parts of an electronic system are suitable for integration in an ASIC. True, much can be integrated but it has its price. Picking the right parts can be key to building a vital business case. Therefore we appreciate being involved in the early phases of the specification. It also allows us to fit the right technology to your specific requirements.

To ensure we provide our customers with a quality product timely and predictably, Bruco works according to a well-defined set of processes and we are ISO 9001 certified. Our IC creation process is a proven way for designing ASICs and subject to continuous improvements to keep pace with the constantly advancing technology.
